BBC Real English – Kitten Heels 中跟女鞋

　　Li: 就是说，中跟鞋的鞋跟要低一些，大概有两英寸左右。

　　Tracy: Exactly.

　　Li: 那么中跟鞋看起来是不是比高跟鞋更职业一些？如果是上班的工作环境，是不是穿中跟鞋比高跟鞋更合适呢？

　　Tracy: Nowadays, women wear all different types of shoes. They might wear kitten heels or stilettos or another type of shoe to work.

　　Li: What do you prefer to wear: kitten heels or stilettos?

　　Tracy: That’s a tough one. I’m quite short so I often wear stilettos, although I think kitten heels are more comfortable.

　　Li: 让我们来听听这些英国女孩子都喜欢穿什么样的鞋子。

　　Examples

　　I normally wear stilettos to work. I think they look smarter with a suit than kitten heels.

　　I don’t own a single pair of kitten heels. I’m definitely a stiletto fan.

　　I have a couple of pairs of kitten heels which I wear to work but my favourite shoes are my stilettos.

　　Li: That’s quite interesting. 比起 kitten heels，她们好像更喜欢穿 stilettos？这又是为什么呢？

　　Tracy: I don’t know, but there is a trend just now for very high heels.

　　Li: 是的，这些接受我们采访的女孩子们的穿着都是相当的时尚。
