　　Carol Ye: 今年将有700部影片在波托贝罗电影节上与广大观众见面。

　　Yang Li: They have different sources of funding. Some comes from arts and local organizations. But they also get a lot of ‘in kind’ support from sponsors.

　　Carol Ye: In kind support 免费资助。也就是说，赞助方通过向电影节免费提供商品或服务来吸引公众注意，并借此来提高自身的知名度。

　　Yang Li: That’s right. They don't have to pay for advertising, launch parties or prizes.

　　The actual films we’re showing are a lot better than anything that you’ll see mostly on the telly or in the multiplexes. And it’s everything from student films and we also get stuff from top filmmakers like, for instance, John Malkovich.

　　Yang Li: Jonathan believes that there is a very high quality of films from new student filmmakers to established and well-known artists such as John Malkovich.

　　Carol Ye: 在电影节上，我们既能看到刚刚走出校门的青年电影制作人的高质量作品，也能看到像约翰·马尔科维奇等知名艺术家的作品。大概正因为如此波托贝罗电影节才能欢迎那 些富有经验的知名艺术家，又能吸引那些刚刚开始影视事业的年轻电影制作人参与其中。
