　　Yang Li: Well, he said you must grow out of it, 你必须从那种心态中走出来才行。

　　You know I hope you really grow out of that. Because that means you’re somehow by the side of the music – I think the thing is to plunge in and swim. But actually, when you’re in the water, actually how you swim matters less, and the idea that I must have a different style from somebody else - no, I think you have to go to the depths of your gut, right or wrong. And frankly, my experience has been - whenever I’ve tried to imitate something or somebody else in my earlier life – it ends up sounding even more like me, whether I like it or not - doesn’t really help, but however, there’s much to learn from everybody.
